DigSafe Canada addresses all elements of the damage prevention process - because there's more to protecting yourself and Canada's underground infrastructure than Call or ClickBeforeYouDig.

Do You Know The Laws In Your Province?

Please refer to the CCGA Regional Partners for additional damage prevention information specific to your province.

Why should I Click or Call?

Whether you are planning to do it yourself or hiring a professional, smart, safe digging means you must obtain utility locates. For your safety and the safety of others, “Click Before You Dig” to mark the location of gas, hydro, cable, and other underground utilities BEFORE starting construction, landscaping or any other project on your property. Once your underground lines have been marked, you will know the approximate location of your utility lines and can dig safely, because knowing what's below protects you and your family.

Visit www. ClickBeforeYouDig.com or contact your one call centre to find out which utilities you need to contact. This service is offered FREE of charge, and is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

"CLICK BEFORE YOU DIG"

Not all facility owners are members of ClickBeforeYouDig or a one call centre. Your one call centre will provide you with the names of its members. Make sure to contact non-participating facility owners that may apply to your excavation such as Government Agencies, Railways or First Nations.

You may also need to obtain private locates for privately owned infrastructure, like an electrical line between a house and a garage.
